Hi
Dear John,
Greetings from Airtel!
This is in reference to your email regarding email id updation for eSIM for your Airtel mobile number 123##££8990.
I would like to inform you that your concern has been registered with the reference number RErchjT201468962 which will be resolved by 8-12-2021 at 10:29 AM.
I have taken your request to update Email ID. You will get an SMS from Airtel(121) to verify the requested email id for your mobile number within next 8 hours. Upon receiving your confirmation, the email Id will be updated. In case non confirmation reply SMS to 121 with 48 hours , your email id updation request will not be processed.
Please reply "Confirm" in case you have received SMS from Airtel (121) and mentioned email id is correct
Please note: you can activate an eSIM by converting your existing physical SIM to eSIM. Currently eSIM is supported on Apple iPhone XS, XS max, XR, iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12 all Variants, Google Pixel 3, 3XL, 3A, 3AXL, Samsung Galaxy Fold and Z Flip & Moto Razr only.
Here are the steps to activate eSIM on your compatible fhandset:
1.SMS ESIM <your registered email id> to 121 from your eSIM enabled handset
2.Follow the instructions and give your consent on the SMS received
3.Post confirming on the SMS, you will receive a call from us. Give your consent on the call as well to initiate the process.
4.Follow the instructions and scan the QR code sent on your registered email ID
5.Kindly do not select Remove Data plan option as this will permanently delete eSIM profile.
Please note, it usually takes 2 hours from the time of your consent to get eSIM activated. During this period the physical SIM will be working. Only once the network from Physical sim goes off the eSIM will start working.
Incase you do not receive the QR code within 1 hour or the scanning is aborted midway, SMS NESIM to 51619 to cancel the request to avoid disconnection of your physical SIM.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for writing to us.
