Here is how you have to do the settings to change or to extend the lifespan of your Lenovo Laptop Battery:

1. Open or click on "Lenovo Vantage"

2. Click on "More Settings" (More settings option is below Quick settings)

3. If you switch OFF Conservation Mode (if Conservation Mode is not enabled), your Lenovo Laptop Battery charge will allow your Battery to a full charge.  If Conservation Mode is enabled, the battery will only be charged to 55-60% of capacity and the battery lifespan can be maximized. However, this will shorten the time you use your Computer after it is disconnected from the AC power source.
